Flat Line Operator

Primary Responsibilities – Flat Line Sprayer Operator Operate and monitor automated flat line spray equipment to apply paint, stain, primer, sealer, and clear coats to cabinet components. Verify finishing materials, colors, and job specifications before beginning each production run. Load, feed, and unload cabinet doors, drawer fronts, finished ends, panels, and other components through the spray line. Monitor finish application to ensure uniform coverage, color consistency, and compliance with quality standards. Inspect finished components for runs, sags, dry spray, uneven coverage, contamination, and other defects. Perform test sprays and make necessary adjustments to maintain proper finish quality. Monitor finishing material levels and replenish supplies as needed. Clean and maintain spray guns, nozzles, filters, and related equipment to ensure proper operation. Identify and report equipment malfunctions, material issues, and quality concerns. Handle and stage finished components carefully to prevent damage or contamination. Maintain a steady production pace while minimizing material waste, defects, and rework. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company procedures for equipment operation, chemical handling, ventilation, and personal protective equipment. Communicate with supervisors and team members to maintain production schedules and meet quality requirements. Experience Prior experience in warehouse environments or distribution centers is highly preferred. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, dollies and pallet jacks is preferred.
