FLAT DECK OWNER-OPERATOR – CALGARY 40' Deck | Highway & Rural Alberta | Opportunity to Grow We are looking for an experienced Flat Deck Owner-Operator based in the Calgary area who wants more than just the occasional load. We are an established Calgary transportation company looking to expand our flat deck division , and we're looking for the right owner-operator to grow with us. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You must have: Your own truck and 40' flat deck with straps and tarps Flat deck and load securement experience Proper commercial insurance, registration and operating requirements A professional attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and customer service skills The motivation to help us build more flat deck business MOSTLY HIGHWAY – NOT CITY WORK The majority of the work is highway and rural Alberta deliveries originating in Calgary . Current and potential service areas include: Sundre - Red Deer County - Drumheller - Linden - Three Hills - Hanna - Banff - Canmore Okotoks and Edmonton (basically Alberta wide if needed) Routes will vary depending on customer requirements. WE WANT SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP BUILD THE BUSINESS This is important: We're not looking for someone who just wants to pick up a load, deliver it and go home. We're looking for an owner-operator who wants to become an important part of growing this side of our company. You'll be face-to-face with customers every day. We want someone who is comfortable talking to customers, building relationships, providing great service and recognizing opportunities for additional work. If a customer says, “We have another shipment next week,” or “Do you guys go to Red Deer?” — we want someone who recognizes that opportunity and helps us turn it into more business. The more flat deck business we build, the more work there is for you. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their equipment, represents our company professionally and wants to develop a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship . INTERESTED?
