Position Summary 

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to support our shipping teams for both local and international orders. 

Key Responsibilities  

Management Duties  

• Process shipping and receiving documents 

• Quality checks  

• On going staff training and supervision 

Warehouse Team Support  

• Pick fresh, frozen and dry goods and prepare them for shipping.  

• Prepare boxes and materials for shipping orders. 

• Pack seafood items as  for shipping 

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of fresh and frozen seafood products 

• Assist in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records 

• Load and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safely 

• Report any damaged or spoiled products to supervisors 

• Label products and boxes according to shipping or regulatory requirements 

• Operate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified or trained) 

• Maintain a clean and organized work area 

• Follow all safety and handling procedures 

Qualifications 

• Previous experience in a warehouse an asset. 

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment  

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly 

• Comfortable working in a cold and wet environment (protective gear provided) 

• A strong understanding of the Halifax regional Municipality.  

• Having grew up in the area or lived here for some time  

Pay & Benefits 

• $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience
