Fire Brigade Dispatcher – LG Energy Solution Site | Holland, MI | $20–$22/hr

SM TECH LLC — Fire Dispatcher, Holland, MI SM TECH LLC is a safety staffing company specializing in EHS and fire brigade programs for large manufacturing clients. We are hiring Fire Dispatchers to support the fire brigade program at a major EV battery manufacturing campus in Holland, Michigan. This is a full-time, long-term position on a new crew launching this fall. You will be the communication center for all fire and medical emergencies on site — the person responders depend on to get the right information to the right people, fast. What you'll do Answer emergency and non-emergency calls, gather critical information, and dispatch the fire brigade by radio Monitor fire alarm, building management, and camera systems and log all alarms, calls, and incidents Escort city fire and EMS units to incident locations and provide building access and situational updates Conduct scheduled fire safety walks of assigned zones, photograph and document fire code violations (blocked exits, obstructed extinguishers, propped fire doors, damaged equipment) Support MIOSHA and NFPA compliance documentation and inspection tracking Run radio checks, maintain shift-change handoff reports, and monitor severe weather conditions for shelter-in-place readiness Important: Fire Dispatchers are not first responders and never enter hazardous areas. Your role is communication, documentation, and coordination. What we're looking for High school diploma or GED, 18 or older Clear, calm, professional communication on phone and radio — this is the core skill Comfortable with computers: alarm software, spreadsheets, digital forms, photo uploads Strong attention to detail and accurate written documentation Able to work 12-hour shifts and walk the site regularly throughout your shift Reliable transportation to Holland, MI Must pass a background check and drug screen Helpful, not required 911, security, fire, EMS, hospital, or corporate dispatch experience CPR / First Aid / AED certification Fire extinguisher training Manufacturing or plant environment experience Schedule and pay $20.00/hour to start , increasing to $22.00 after a 90-day evaluation Full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts (confirm days/nights and rotation before you post) OSHA 30 Certification Required; Training Cost Reimbursement Provided Upon Completion Overtime available and paid at time and a half Start date: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 You will be employed by SM TECH LLC and assigned to our client's Holland campus.
