Fine Jewelry Sales Associate

Job Summary The Jewelry Retail Salesperson is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a fast-paced retail environment specializing in high-end gemstones, fashion jewelry, and a wide variety of jewelry products. This role involves working both independently and as part of a small or large sales team, frequently traveling for events and utilizing a combination of proprietary and standard retail sales systems to manage transactions and inventory. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting fine jewelry pieces that meet their preferences and needs Conduct engaging product demonstrations to highlight the craftsmanship, features, and value of jewelry items Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, answering questions, and offering tailored recommendations Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash register operations and cash handling Maintain organized merchandise displays through stocking, merchandising, and visual presentation to attract customers’ attention Handle retail store product knowledge updates, ensuring familiarity with new arrivals, promotions, and inventory levels Assist in inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and stocktaking to ensure product availability Skills Proven experience in retail sales, particularly in luxury or jewelry environments, with supervising experience preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, cash drawer handling, and retail math for accurate transactions Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone Skilled in product demos to educate customers about jewelry features and craftsmanship Knowledge of merchandising principles to create appealing displays that drive sales Ability to perform retail store tasks such as stocking, inventory management, and cashiering efficiently Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and proactive approach to assisting shoppers This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to deliver outstanding service while working in a luxurious setting.
