Position Overview The FP&A Manager is an important role in Homer City Redevelopment’s growing Finance team. This role will own budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for a multi-GW combined cycle gas turbine power plant project, working with internal and external stakeholders. A core part of the role is serving as the FP&A owner for the project’s U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) loan, where accurate forecasting, disciplined reporting and compliance with DOE requirements are critical to the company’s success. It is a unique opportunity to work at an early-stage startup that will rapidly grow into an operator of a major power plant capable of generating billions of dollars of revenue. Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, you will build a lean but highly effective FP&A function from the ground up. As a rapidly growing company with a major construction project already underway, we need someone capable of, and experienced in, blending the rigor of large-dollar project finance with the agile, partnership-heavy culture of hyperscale tech. As a lean company you will need to bring the capacity and the desire to work across all levels – from hands-on modeling and analysis, to process design and implementation, systems enhancement and management reporting – with high energy and a positive attitude. You will provide the forward-looking financial insight that guides the company’s decisions as it moves through distinct stages in its lifecycle, from supporting a multi-billion dollar construction project through to operating a large power plant. You will establish FP&A as a trusted partner to Accounting, the other Finance teams, project leaders and the wider company. Where you will work The FP&A Manager is full-time, and is a 100% in-person role, based in the company’s downtown Pittsburgh office.
