Financial Controller

Fast Track Express is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal financial controls. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive accounting knowledge, and the ability to improve financial processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Supervise accounting staff and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and expense monitoring. Oversee bank reconciliations, financial transactions, and month-end closing procedures. Develop and implement accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor financial performance, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and applicable financial regulations. Coordinate with internal auditors, external accountants, and tax professionals. Support financial planning and provide management with accurate financial analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years of accounting or financial management experience. Previous experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar position. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and accounting software. Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. CPA certification preferred but not required. Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or warehousing is a plus.
