Description Do you want to build the financial governance layer for one of the largest fulfillment networks in the world? The North America Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Central Labor Planning team is looking for a Financial Analyst III to own labor plan reporting and variance analysis across the entire NACF network. This role sits at a strategic layer above site-level operations, providing the weekly glide path and narrative that goes directly to senior leadership. You will diagnose gaps in the labor financial plan, escalate structural issues before they surface in the weekly business review, and build the reporting framework from the ground up. If you thrive in high-visibility roles where you create the process rather than inherit it, this is your opportunity to shape how labor planning strategy is governed, reported, and understood at the highest levels. Key job responsibilities Own the weekly labor plan performance narrative and variance analysis, diagnosing deviations against the financial plan and determining when escalation to senior leadership is required versus continued monitoring Build and refine the labor plan reporting mechanism in partnership with the Operational Finance Rotation Program, creating scalable processes for the weekly glide path and variance reporting to senior leadership Coordinate across field Finance, analytics, and operations planning teams to align on data inputs, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting without direct authority Develop an escalation framework with clear criteria to distinguish short-term labor plan fluctuations from structural problems that require senior leadership attention before the weekly business review Dive deep into financial and operational data to ensure reporting accuracy, deliver actionable business insights, and contribute to the broader NACF Labor Planning strategy as the function matures A day in the life Your week begins Monday with the labor plan call, where you own the variance story and flag issues that need escalation. Tuesday and Wednesday, you track actuals against the glide path, coordinate with field Finance and analytics on inputs, and partner with the Operational Finance Rotation Program on report preparation. Thursday is weekly business review finalization. Friday, you review next week's inputs and connect with planning teams on discrepancies. Beyond the weekly cycle, you field ad hoc requests from senior leadership, explain labor plan deviations to network Directors, and continuously refine the reporting methodology you are building. About The Team NACF Central Labor Planning is a lean, high-impact Finance function that owns labor strategy and governance for the entire North America Customer Fulfillment network. Strategy and oversight sit here while tactical execution lives with regional Finance planners. The team operates with a high ratio of impact to headcount, and the work regularly reaches Vice President and Senior Vice President audiences. The expectation is intellectual rigor, independent ownership, and clear communication when risks emerge. You will work in an environment where building the right process matters as much as running it, and where your financial narratives directly inform leadership decisions. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience MBA, or CPA Knowledge of SQL/ETL Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD …
