Responsibilities: Oversee daily final mile delivery operations for a FedEx BC (Business Contractor) service area in St. Louis, MO Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of delivery drivers to meet performance standards Monitor route efficiency, on-time delivery metrics, and customer satisfaction scores Ensure compliance with FedEx contractor requirements, DOT regulations, and safety protocols Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, fleet readiness, and equipment inspections Resolve delivery exceptions, customer escalations, and operational issues in a timely manner Track KPIs and prepare operational reports to drive continuous improvement Coordinate with dispatch and sort teams to optimize daily load and route planning Requirements: Prior experience in last-mile delivery management or 2 plus years FedEx driving Experience, logistics, or transportation operations Familiarity with FedEx Ground or FedEx BC contractor operations strongly preferred Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold accountable a team of drivers Strong knowledge of DOT compliance, safety regulations, and fleet management Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure Proficiency with route management software and delivery tracking systems Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong communication and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset About Us: We are a dedicated FedEx Business Contractor serving the St. Louis, MO region, committed to delivering excellence at every doorstep.
