Final Mile Delivery Driver/Helper

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Final Mile Delivery Driver/Helper, where you'll play a vital role in de products directly into customers' homes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to combine driving expertise with exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. As a key member of our delivery operation, you'll navigate local routes using box trucks and assist with loading and unloading Peloton equipment and appliances such as refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, microwaves etc.. Also you‘ll perform installation of the product while providing a positive experience for every customer you serve. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks to deliver goods along designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks or shoulder dollies ensuring safe lifting practices Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, professionally, and courteously with recipients during deliveries. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update status reports, and navigate routes efficiently. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight handling in the workplace while following safety protocols. Support route driving responsibilities by maintaining vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues promptly. Skills Prior warehouse experience combined with delivery driver experience enhances your ability to manage logistics smoothly. Proven ability to operate box trucks safely. Strong manual handling skills with knowledge of safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques. Familiarity with commercial truck driving regulations (DOT compliance). Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and moving tools efficiently. Excellent driving skills with adherence to traffic laws and route planning for timely deliveries. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during each delivery. Comfort using mobile devices for navigation, communication, and documentation purposes.
