Final Mile Delivery and Installer

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Final Mile Delivery and Installer, where you will be the face of our company, delivering and installing essential appliances and equipment directly at customer locations. This energetic role combines precise delivery, expert installation, and exceptional customer service to ensure every customer experience is positive and seamless. You will lead a 2 person team as you operate company vehicles, equipment and appliances at customer's home, and provide professional setup services that meet high standards of quality and safety. Duties Safely operate company box trucks or similar vehicles to deliver appliances and equipment to customer. Perform safe and accurate unloading, handling, and placement of appliances or equipment at designated locations. Install appliances, including refrigeration units, or other mechanical devices, following schematics, technical manuals, and safety protocols. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble or secure appliances during installation. Conduct thorough inspections to ensure proper operation of installed systems; test electrical connections and verify compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining the operation of installed equipment, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Requirements Minimum 6 month to 1yr Proven experience in appliance installation, or field service roles with a focus on final mile delivery. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in reading schematics and following installation guidelines. Skilled in general equipment troubleshooting. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, electrical testing devices, and assembly techniques. Experience operating company vehicles such as box trucks or similar delivery vans; valid driver’s license required. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for installation procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude; capable of managing multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Physical ability to lift heavy appliances safely; comfortable working at heights using ladders when necessary. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for completing documentation such as delivery logs and inspection reports.
