Final Mile Delivery and Installation Technician

Job Summary As a Final Mile Delivery and Installation Technician, you’ll deliver appliances and equipment to customers, install and assemble products, and troubleshoot issues in the field. You’ll use your mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair skills to complete work safely, communicate clearly, and leave customers with equipment ready to use. Your impact: Accurate installation and responsive service help customers use their appliances and equipment with confidence. We deliver Lowes products. Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and stoves. This is a 2-man job (Driver & Helper) Duties Operate a box 26ft box truck, to transport and deliver products to customer locations. Install and assemble appliances and equipment; perform related plumbing and electrical work as appropriate. Use hand tools and power tools to install electrical components to stoves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers. Communicate any issues with management. Use software to track job location, uploading pictures of before and after. Requirements Delivery driver experience and ability to operate a company vehicle; box truck 26 ft experience is required. Must have a chauffeur's license to drive and DOT card Mechanical knowledge and experience with appliance installation, equipment troubleshooting, or equipment repair. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, moving shoulder straps, and basic electrical work (This is needed to add the power cable to washers or dryers and stoves. Electrical experience and plumbing skills are preferred. Must know how to remove refrigerator doors and reattach them Clear communication, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently in the field.
