What You Will Do Lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues impacting the factory through analytical problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and clear communication. Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation processes, and review of nonconforming material. Analyze supplier non-conformances and develop effective corrective and preventive action plans addressing systemic issues. Perform & coordinate Source Inspection Investigate supplied material issues to ensure defect documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective solutions are fully and accurately implemented. Manage supplier onboarding, source inspection, and qualification/certification activities. Support escape management processes, driving RCCA, problem solving, and recommending corrective/preventive actions for systemic supplier process issues. Analyze supplier quality data to identify systemic issues and develop supplier-specific quality strategies utilizing PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, SPC, and other quality tools. Apply multiple communication and influencing styles to gain alignment with suppliers and stakeholders. Build effective cross-functional teamwork, adapting working styles to changing priorities. Support overall Collins Aerospace supplier programs to ensure healthy continuous improvement and long-term sustainability. Assist with quarantine, containment, and screening of suspect defective hardware when required.
