Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
Salary with 10% annual bonus eligibility
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Overview
This role leads end-to-end field execution for Industrial door systems across North America, including installation, service, maintenance, and warranty work. It combines field leadership, training development, safety compliance, and operational performance to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to established quality standards.
Core Responsibilities1. Field Execution & Leadership
- Oversee all field activities (installations, service, maintenance)
- Lead technicians and subcontractors across multiple projects
- Ensure work meets schedule, cost, and quality targets
- Act as escalation point for field issues
- Conduct site visits for readiness, safety, and quality verification
- Manage subcontractor performance, contracts, and certification
2. Training & Development
- Own and build standardized training programs
- Develop onboarding and ramp-up plans for new hires
- Identify skill gaps and implement coaching or corrective actions
- Align training with engineering updates and field lessons learned
- Capture best practices and continuously improve field methods
- Mentor team leads and strengthen leadership pipeline
3. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA, EM 385, and site-specific safety standards
- Ensure all documentation (AHA, certifications) is audit-ready
- Deliver and track safety training across all field staff
- Promote a strong, proactive safety culture
4. Cost Control & Productivity
- Track planned vs. actual labor hours
- Improve productivity and reduce downtime/rework
- Control mobilization costs and labor efficiency
- Support budgeting and bid reviews with field insights
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Project Management, Service Operations, Engineering, and Sales to:
- Plan and execute projects effectively
- Align resources and schedules
- Identify risks and improve outcomes
- Participate in bids, project reviews, and closeouts

Key Qualifications
- Experience leading field operations (construction, industrial, mechanical systems)
- Proven ability to develop and sustain training programs
- Experience managing subcontractor networks
- Knowledge of safety-critical environments
- Strong financial and productivity focus
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
Requirements
- 5+ years in field or operations leadership
- 2–5 years of project management experience
- OSHA 30 (required)
- PMP, EM 385, Power BI (preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (Epicor preferred)
Work Environment
- Monday–Friday schedule with some flexibility
- Occasional remote work with approval
- Travel/site visits as needed
