Position Overview Abacus Consulting Group is seeking a Field Logistics / Material Coordinator to support upcoming electrical utility and infrastructure projects in Colorado and surrounding states. This field-based position supports construction operations by coordinating materials and equipment, managing deliveries and inventory, maintaining accurate project documentation, and working closely with field personnel, vendors, and project teams. This position requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and hands-on experience operating forklifts, SkyTrak telehandlers, and similar construction equipment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate materials, equipment, and supplies for active construction projects Receive, organize, track, and distribute project materials Monitor material deliveries, inventory, usage, and equipment Operate forklifts, SkyTrak telehandlers, and similar construction equipment as required Coordinate logistics to help ensure materials and equipment are available when needed Maintain accurate inventory records, material logs, and project documentation Communicate with vendors, contractors, field personnel, and project teams regarding material and equipment requirements Help resolve material shortages, delivery delays, discrepancies, and other field logistics issues Provide additional field logistics and coordination support as project needs require Required Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Hands-on experience operating forklifts, SkyTrak telehandlers, and similar construction equipment Experience in logistics, material coordination, construction support, or a related field Strong organizational and documentation skills Effective communication skills when working with field teams, vendors, and project stakeholders Ability to work safely and effectively in active construction environments Willingness and ability to travel for project-based assignments Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting electrical utility, substation, transmission, or infrastructure construction projects Experience with material tracking, inventory systems, or construction documentation Bilingual (English/Spanish) Schedule & Work Environment This is a field-based, project-driven position. Work schedules may exceed 40 hours per week depending on project schedules, scope, and client requirements. Travel may be required for assignments throughout Colorado and surrounding states. Compensation & Benefits Compensation: $25.00–$40.00 per hour , based on experience, qualifications, and project assignment. Benefits and compensation structure may vary depending on project assignment and eligibility.
