Hemm Glass ShopsOverview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Glazier Foreman to lead and oversee glass installation projects on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that all glazing work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a Foreman, you will manage teams of skilled glaziers, coordinate with project managers, and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations. Your expertise in construction management, blueprint reading, and crew supervision will drive project success from start to finish. Duties Lead and supervise a team of glaziers on various construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide installation processes accurately Coordinate with project managers to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all glazing work meets industry standards and client expectations Manage procurement of materials and tools, including specialized equipment like Ohmmeters for electrical testing of glass systems Enforce OSHA and federal construction safety regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections Review construction contracts and manage crew workflows to ensure timely completion within budget constraints Supervise the review of construction drawings and technical documents using Bluebeam or ProCore software for accuracy and compliance Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to ensure seamless project progression Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, safety incidents, and project progress reports Skills Extensive experience in commercial construction site management with a focus on glazing projects Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and Primavera for scheduling and project tracking Strong understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction plans accurately Proven ability to manage teams effectively, including supervising crews in fast-paced environments Excellent communication skills for managerial coordination, client updates, and team leadership Knowledge of budgeting processes, cost control measures, and procurement strategies within the construction industry Ability to oversee construction safety management programs ensuring compliance with all safety regulations Experience with managing complex projects involving pipeline installations or other specialized systems is a plus Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as Ohmmeters for quality assurance purposes Join us as a Field Glazier Foreman to lead innovative projects that shape our communities!
