Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fertilizer Plant Production and Warehouse Technician role based in Kansas, United States. The technician will assist with operating production equipment, blending and packaging fertilizer products, and monitoring product quality during each stage of processing. Day-to-day responsibilities include safely loading and unloading materials, organizing and storing inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse and plant environment. The role involves following safety procedures, performing basic equipment checks, documenting production and inventory activities, and coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The technician will also support routine maintenance tasks and follow all company policies and regulatory requirements related to fertilizer handling and storage. Qualifications Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, complete production tasks accurately, and maintain detailed records of inventory and shipments. Skills in operating basic production and warehouse equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mixers, bagging or blending equipment) and willingness to learn specific plant machinery. Strong focus on safety practices, including proper handling of fertilizer products, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to facility safety protocols. Basic math and measurement skills for blending products, weighing materials, and verifying order quantities. Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with plant operators, warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors. Physical ability to lift and move bags and materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a production and warehouse environment. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required. Willingness to work full-time on-site in Kansas, with reliability in attendance and flexibility for seasonal workload changes.
