Feed Mill Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Feed Mill Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment in a busy feed mill environment, supporting the production of high-quality animal feed. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience in manufacturing or agriculture settings. This position offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to the agricultural supply chain in a vital industry. Duties Operate and monitor feed mill machinery, ensuring efficient production processes Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to prevent downtime Assist with loading and unloading raw materials and finished products using forklifts or other heavy equipment Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the mill area Support food processing activities related to animal feed production Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals, machinery, and raw materials Assist with inventory management and record keeping for production batches Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and ensure quality standards are maintained Skills Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or agriculture industries preferred Ability to operate forklifts, heavy equipment, and tanker trucks safely and efficiently Knowledge of farming practices, food production processes, or animal feed manufacturing is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and food safety standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and teamwork orientation Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving is advantageous This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations within our feed mill facility. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and committed to maintaining a safe working environment.
