Feed Mill Worker

In this role, you will operate machinery, handle raw materials, and ensure the efficient and safe processing of feed ingredients. Duties Operate milling equipment and material handling machinery to process grains and feed ingredients efficiently Perform manual handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting raw materials using forklifts or other material handling equipment Conduct routine equipment inspections, maintenance, and cleaning to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow safety protocols strictly during all phases of production, including heavy lifting and machine operation Monitor production lines for quality assurance, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications Assist with grain handling processes, including storage, transfer, and inventory management Maintain accurate records of production activities, safety checks, and equipment maintenance Experience Prior experience in the milling industry or food processing environment is highly desirable Knowledge of agriculture practices, farming operations, or grain handling is a strong plus Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery effectively Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and protocol adherence in a production setting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently Basic math skills for measurements, inventory tracking, and quality control documentation Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred Commercial driving experience or licensing can be advantageous for transportation tasks Must be able to lift 50lbs constantly, and or lift 100lbs occasionally.
