Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as a FedEx Worker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of packages within our warehouse distribution center. This position offers an energetic environment focused on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. As a key player in warehouse operations, you will handle heavy materials, operate various types of heavy equipment, and support order fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations with precision and speed. Duties Operate warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory control by utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels and ensure accurate recordkeeping Perform manual handling tasks such as stocking, packing, order picking, and shipping & receiving while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations Support warehouse management in maintaining organized storage areas through effective stock rotation and inventory management practices Ensure compliance with safety regulations by using personal protective equipment (PPE), following safety procedures, and participating in safety training sessions Assist in load & unload operations for incoming shipments and prepare outgoing orders for dispatch with attention to detail in packaging and order fulfillment Operate material handling equipment like stock selectors, load shippers, and order pickers to optimize warehouse productivity Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in inventory management and logistics processes Certification or experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, or pallet jacks is highly preferred Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining proper manual handling techniques Technical proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and OS400 or similar platforms Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and order accuracy Prior warehouse supervisor experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in advancement opportunities Join us to be part of a fast-paced environment where your skills make a difference!
