The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, and packages to various destinations while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills , customer service orientation , and the ability to handle physical tasks such as manual handling and heavy lifting. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for delivery purposes Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries Ensure safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items Comply with all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and workplace weight handling standards Skills Experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving material handling equipment operation Familiarity with commercial driving, including vehicles such as box trucks or vans Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and DOT compliance standards Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in accordance with safe lifting practices Experience with route driving, load & unload procedures, and mobile device usage for navigation or communication purposes Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude Valid driver’s license suitable for commercial driving if required by the vehicle type used in the role This position offers an opportunity for individuals and self-starters with a strong work ethic who enjoy driving, manual handling, and providing exceptional service.
