FedEx Ground linehaul (CDL required)

Duties - Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks - Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance or safety issues - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members Requirements - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsement. - Only required endorsement is doubles/triples no hazmat or tanker. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial driving - Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past year - Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding commercial driving and transportation of goods - Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Ability to perform physical tasks such as hooking and unhooking trailers - Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules and deadlines Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
