FedEx Ground Delivery in QUEENS - Driver $850/wk - Helper $700/wk

JOB DESCRIPTION: ***This is a Temporary/Seaso nap Position with the potential to turn full-time . *** Our Peak Season start date is on or around OCTOBER 27-JANUARY 1. PLEASE READ THE AD FULLY . Seeking experienced COMMERCIAL truck driving professionals and delivery Helpers for Part-Time and Temporary Seasonal positions (3-6 days per week) utilizing a FedEx Ground Vehicle making deliveries using FedEx Ground Scanner. Duties are to load packages in the morning and to deliver to pre-determined areas in Queens, NY. Work day starts at 8:00AM and ends between 4:00PM and 7:00PM - depending on volume. Driving a car, Uber, Lyft or taxi service DOES NOT QUALIFY YOU FOR THIS JOB!! In order to be a DRIVER, you must have minimum 1 FULL year of experience BOTH driving a commercial truck while making deliveries for a COURIER/DELIVERY SERVICE EITHER UPS, FedEx, Amazon, DHL or Fresh Direct ONLY. 1 year experience must be from your most recent job within last 3 years (from 2023-2026). No experience necessary for Helper position. COMPENSATION: You will be assigned a daily pay rate. $850 starting with prior experience ($170 per day) Pay for a Helper is typically $700 per week ($140 per day) QUALIFICATIONS: You must meet ALL of the following qualifications, or your application will not be accepted. There are no exceptions. Y OU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR TRUCK DRIVING EXPERIENCE IN A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE. CDL IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED! CLEAN LICENSE FOR 3 YEARS A MUST! Background screening required by FedEx *** You must be able to pass drug and alcohol tests (for drivers). You must be physically fit and able to lift 150 lbs You must be available on weekends The schedule is subject to change!
