FedEx Ground AVP Driver

HOME DELIVERY DRIVERS NEEDED! No driving experience required. EarlyStart Xpress is currently hiring seasonal Personal Vehicle Delivery Drivers (AVP Drivers) to deliver FedEx Ground packages using your own car. This position offers the possibility of advancement to full-time in FedEx branded trucks with proper certifications. Paid training required to learn the delivery process. AVP is Alternate Vehicle Program . This is designed to utilize smaller SUV's to deliver packages. Minimum 100 stops per day $25 an hour plus fuel Flexible schedule Responsibilities And Duties Deliver a wide variety of items (in size and weight) to customers, possibly having to navigate stairs ad uneven terrain. Follow assigned driving routes and time schedules to residential & commercial clients in a safe and timely manner. Provide excellent customer service, through positive and professional interactions with customers, answering questions, and handling customer complaints. Load, unload, and arrange packages during delivery and pick ups Fill out all necessary documents (timesheet, sign-in sheet) Attend safety meetings Retrieve and maintain any delivery tools and documents Adhere to all company and FedEx Ground rules and regulations Make safety a priority at all times MUST USE YOUR OWN VEHICLE No commercial driving experience necessary Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check to get hired Must be organized, diligent, and reliable Driver Requirements: Must be 21 yrs. old or older Must have a current valid driver's license that you have held for at least a year Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass a background check Must have a smartphone and cell phone service Must have SUV type vehicle with active registration and insurance Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs Vehicle Requirements: Vehicle model must be 2011 or newer (cannot be older than 15 years) Vehicle must be in good condition (no damage, rust, stickers, or decals) Vehicle must be registered to you. Vehicle must have proof of insurance: You will be responsible for maintaining state minimum-level insurance coverage on your vehicle.
