FedEx Flex/AVP Delivery Driver

Trudere Logistics Corp is seeking entrepreneurial minded individuals in Charleston, SC who are looking for the opportunity to earn good pay with a short ramp-up time. We are a premier contracting company with FedEx, who are now accepting applications for accountable and professional drivers to deliver packages with their own vehicles in the Ladson and Summerville, SC areas. We offer a collaborative and engaging team culture, where you are set up for success from day one. With in-field and virtual coaching, the ramp-up time to excel in this job is minimal. This is a great opportunity for anyone that can deliver for 4-8 hours a day in their own vehicle, (like Amazon-Flex, Doordash, Grubhub and UberEats.) If you have experience in these delivery environments, or you simply enjoy the idea of driving in a small area for good money, this opportunity is for you. Experience with Amazon-Flex, Doordash, UberEATS, GrubHub and Post-mates is helpful, but not necessary. This sought-after delivery experience fits many schedules and is available to the right candidate. JOB DESCRIPTION: Your day starts with arriving at the Ladson terminal (target time 8:15am), where you will load your vehicle with small packages weighing no more than 25 pounds and anywhere from 75 to 130 stops. After you load your vehicle, then you’ll dispatch to your delivery area. · Compensation - $160 a day for training and $175 a day once training is complete. · This is contractual work; therefore, Trudere Logistics Corp does not reimburse for gas or vehicle maintenance · After you are done with your route and everything is delivered, then you can head directly home, or to another work opportunity, such as Uber or Doordash… SHIFT IS ANYWHERE FROM 4-8 HOURS DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS: Must provide your own vehicle and insurance Must have a smartphone Must be 21+ years old Must have a valid driver's license for 1 year Must pass background , drug screen and Motor Vehicle Record Check YOUR VEHICLE: Must be insured Must have current registration Must be less than 15 years old Must be less than 10,000 lbs GVWR (Examples the qualify: Sedans, Minivans, SUVs, Station Wagons, Pick up trucks with covered and secured beds) No Cargo-vans Trucks must have a cover over the bed Reliable DUTIES: Safe Driving at ALL TIMES Deliver the correct package to the correct customer Follow all delivery protocols (learned through training) Meet efficiency requirements as set forth by Trudere Logistics Corp Make all timed deliveries ON TIME BENEFITS: Flexible schedule Claiming miles on your taxes Aligning yourself with a premier global brand (FedEx) Competitive pay with weekly direct deposits (every Friday) Pay: From $160.00 per day Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid training Vision insurance Application Question(s): Are you at least 21 years old?
