Equipment: Safely operate a well-maintained Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV). Requirements & Qualifications: License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) with a clean driving record. Endorsements: Doubles Endorsement is REQUIRED . Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL-A driving experience. Skills: Strong time management, route planning, and basic vehicle maintenance skills. Bonus Experience: Previous experience driving for FedEx, UPS, Penske, 10 Roads Express, Walmart, Amazon, or a background as an OTR/Team Driver is a major plus! Key Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate a CMV to transport goods to designated FedEx locations. Conduct thorough DOT pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate electronic logs of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries per company and DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and FedEx personnel regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or transport issues.
