TideDawgz Trucking Service, a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground. As an independent company contracted by FedEx, we unfortunately do not offer employee benefits at this time. However, we do offer 5 days of paid time off/vacation. Pay & Route Information The pay rate is $150–$200 per day, depending on the route and position. We will explain the pay structure and expectations in more detail during the interview. Our primary delivery areas are Hoover, 35226 and 35244. One of the benefits of our location is that we are right outside the FedEx facility where we are dispatched. This means: You do not have a long drive to your first stop. You begin making deliveries shortly after leaving the facility. Once your deliveries and pickups are completed, you return the truck to the facility and are finished for the day. Typical start times are 8:00 AM–9:00 AM. Responsibilities Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses Follow routes and time schedule Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Follow DOT regulations and safety standards CDL not required.
