FedEx Ground Delivery Driver – Job Overview E & B Delivery is seeking dependable, hardworking, and motivated individuals to join our team as FedEx Ground Delivery Drivers . As a delivery driver, you will play an important role in providing reliable and professional service to customers throughout our service area. This is a fast-paced, active position that is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying busy, and being out on the road rather than sitting behind a desk. As a Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and business customers. Drivers will operate a company-provided delivery vehicle, follow assigned routes, use navigation and delivery technology, and ensure packages are delivered to the correct locations. Drivers are expected to provide courteous customer service and represent E & B Delivery and FedEx Ground in a professional manner. The typical workday begins around 7:30 AM and continues until the assigned route is completed. End times may vary depending on the day's package volume, route, traffic, weather, and overall delivery conditions. Because FedEx Ground operates throughout the week, drivers are required to work one weekend day and will be given one weekday off , with schedules and days off determined by management. This position is physically demanding. Drivers must be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions and walking, bending, lifting, carrying, and maneuvering packages throughout the day. Packages can range from small, lightweight items to heavier packages weighing 60–150 pounds , so applicants must be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position safely. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license. Candidates must successfully complete the required background check, DOT physical, and drug screening before beginning employment. No CDL is required for this position. E & B Delivery provides the delivery vehicle, FedEx uniform, and paid training to help new drivers learn the job, routes, safety expectations, and delivery procedures. Drivers are paid $140 per day , with pay issued every Friday on a one-week delay. Additional benefits include paid vacation based on length of employment.
