Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a FedEx Delivery Driver, where you will be the friendly face delivering packages and ensuring customer satisfaction every day! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy driving, this position is perfect for you! •••MUST HAVE PACKAGE DELIVERY EXPERIENCE AND BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST•••• Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial locations. Load and unload shipments using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks or carts. Follow designated routes accurately while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) safety standards. Ensure timely deliveries by managing route schedules effectively and communicating with dispatch as needed. Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and obtaining signatures when required. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Use mobile devices for route navigation, delivery documentation, and communication with the team. Qualifications Previous delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or van driving roles. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) or experience with commercial truck driving is advantageous. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly. Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices required for compliance and safety. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing routes or schedules.
