Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles to complete daily routes efficiently Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary Follow designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations for safe driving practices Deliver packages directly to customers’ homes or businesses with professionalism and excellent customer service skills Utilize mobile devices for route navigation, delivery confirmations, and communication with dispatch teams Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with company standards Handle heavy lifting responsibly, employing safe lifting practices during loading, unloading, and delivery processes Requirements MUST HAVE PACKAGEDELIVERYEXPERIENCE AND BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST . Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, experience or commercial driving background Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial truck driving is a plus Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or moving carts Strong knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices for heavy and light vehicles Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Physical ability to lift heavy packages safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous but not mandatory Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently on route-driven schedules Embark on an exciting career where your driving skills meet exceptional service!
