Fedex Delivery Driver

FedEx Ground Contractor has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for Full-Time drivers to provide delivery services to homes and businesses. Drivers will dispatch out of the FedEx Ground terminal located at 520 Commander Shea Blvd., Quincy, MA. CDL License is NOT required! Work Hours: 8:00am - Delivery completion *Full time must work one weekend day. Delivery Driver Benefits: WEEKLY Paychecks! Paid Training $180/day (Typically lasts 1-2 weeks, depending on experience) Potential Yearly Salary: $46,800 - $78,000 Vacation Pay after 1 year Delivery Driver Requirements: At least 21 years of age Clean driving record - No accidents or violations in 3 years Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen Must submit to a background check Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with a dolly and work in all weather conditions Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Arrive at the Quincy, MA FedEx Ground terminal to pick up vehicle and packages Accurately make 150-180 stops per day, using a box-style truck within the prescribed time windows Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily following safety guidelines Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight without damage to the package or injury to oneself or others. WORKING CONDITIONS: Drive on city streets safely and in all types of weather. Exposure to noise and vibration Exposure to hazardous materials shipped and packaged under DOT regulations.
