Fashion Buyer - Women's Apparel

We are proud to be an employee-owned company (ESOP) focused on growth, community, and opportunity. About This Opportunity We are hiring a Fashion Buyer for our Los Angeles office. This is a hybrid role based in the downtown fashion district. This buyer will be responsible for multimillion dollar categories. This position reports to the Merchandise Manager. Candidates must have at least 2+ years of buying experience in fashion retail. Off-price experience is preferred. Responsibilities Collaborate with the buying and planning teams to fill OTB and plan product assortment Analyze reports to drive positive sales Monitor and predict market trends Develop and maintain vendor relationships Attend business meetings and vendor appointments Negotiate affordable prices for merchandise Communicate with merchandising team to develop products and properly present trends Qualifications 2+ years of buying experience in fashion retail – off price preferred Bachelor’s degree (Business, Fashion Merchandising, and or related field preferred) Strong Excel skills and retail math Proven ability to work cross-functionally and meet deadlines Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written Bilingual skills (Spanish or Korean) are a plus Must be an independent thinker and self-starter Must be able to reliably commute to the downtown Los Angeles office on a weekly basis Why Join Our Team Competitive salary based on experience: $80,000 - $95,000 annually Employee ownership through ESOP Affordable health and dental insurance Paid holidays, PTO and accrued vacation Opportunity to grow in a supportive, inclusive work environment Additional Details Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, CA Meetings: Must be able to attend in-person meetings as needed Travel: Up to 10% travel Start Date: Flexible; position is currently open Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): Do you have at least 2 years of experience in a primary fashion buyer role for women's apparel (not assistant or associate level)?
