Farm Semi Truck Driver Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Farm Semi Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for hauling grain from fields to bin sites or commercial elevators, ensuring timely and safe transportation. This role involves operating manual transmission trucks, loading and unloading cargo, and maintaining adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Operate semi trucks with manual transmissions to transport grain from agricultural fields to designated storage or processing facilities. Load and unload grain efficiently and safely, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Haul grain from fields to bin sites and/or commercial elevators in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and cargo details as required. Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation activities. Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, deliveries, and any issues encountered during trips. Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly. Requirements Valid semi truck driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience operating semi trucks with manual transmissions preferred. Ability to load and unload cargo manually or using appropriate equipment. Prior experience in farm logistics or agricultural transportation is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to trucking and grain handling. Good physical condition to handle loading/unloading tasks as needed. Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours based on seasonal demands.
