The Faculty of Business, University of New Brunswick Saint John, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Supply Chain Management and Logistics (SCM&L) at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The position is available to start on July 1, 2027, or a mutually agreed date. The review of applications will begin by November 16, 2026, and the selection committee will continue the process until the position is filled. This position is subject to budgetary approval. The river that runs by our university is known as Wolastoq, along which live Wolastoqiyik, "the people of the beautiful and bountiful river." Wolastoq is also known as the St. John River. Before the start date, the successful candidate must have earned a terminal degree (PhD or DBA) in Operations Management, Management Science, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a closely related field from an accredited university, preferably by AACSB. The preferred candidate will be experienced in teaching various subjects related to SCM&L (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, etc.) at the undergraduate and/or MBA levels. They will have published - or at least have a significant potential to publish, if they are junior faculty - in internationally recognized Operations and Supply Chain Management journals such as those in the SCM List (www.scmlist.com). The successful candidate will be expected to actively engage in research and provide subject matter expertise and leadership in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Experience or interest in maritime logistics and/or global supply chains involving seaports would be a significant asset.
