Facility & Fleet Mechanic

Job Summary Pacific Grocers is seeking a dependable and skilled Facility & Fleet Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing our fleet of vehicles, light trucks, and heavy equipment, while also handling general facility and warehouse maintenance tasks to keep our operations running smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities Fleet & Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on company vehicles and light trucks. (Note: Major bodywork is outsourced to third-party mechanic shops). Heavy Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, service, and troubleshoot heavy equipment to ensure safe and reliable operational readiness. Tire Services: Execute tire changes, rotations, and repairs for both vehicles and heavy machinery. Welding: Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks to repair equipment, racks, and facility fixtures. HVAC Service: Conduct routine servicing and troubleshooting for vehicle HVAC systems. Electrical & Facility Maintenance: Handle low-voltage (110V) building and warehouse electrical tasks, including changing light bulbs and basic troubleshooting. General Facility Upkeep: Perform general building maintenance and assess facility issues to determine when third-party contractor support is required. Additional Responsibilities: To be discussed. Requirements & Qualifications MUST have a flexible schedule. MUST be able to work on Saturdays. Must have a valid Guam Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Proven experience as an auto mechanic, service technician, or fleet maintenance worker. Proficient in inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle and heavy equipment mechanical issues. Skilled in performing basic automotive care, including oil changes, tire repairs/changes, and replacing defective or worn parts. Basic working knowledge of welding, vehicle HVAC systems, and low-voltage (110V) electrical/facility upkeep. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse and shop environment. Salary & Benefits Commensurate with experience.
