Standard Job Description WHO WE ARE href=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mk5h5qU9tkI>Lockheed Martin: An Award-Winning Place to Work WHO YOU ARE The Facilities Engineer supports the Orlando Facilities maintenance organization through a combination of maintenance administration, contractor coordination, and project management. This position provides day-to-day support for maintenance activities while independently managing assigned Quick Projects (QP) and other small Facilities projects from initial scope development through execution and closeout. The role coordinates with Facilities personnel, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to support maintenance and project execution. Primary Responsibilities: include coordinating contractor mobilization and site access, maintaining required documentation, tracking open actions and deliverables, supporting purchase and service requirements, maintaining project and maintenance records, and ensuring required documentation is complete and properly closed out. For assigned QP and small Facilities projects, the Facilities Engineer will develop and validate scope, coordinate estimates and contractor proposals, support procurement activities, establish and track schedules, coordinate customer and site requirements, monitor field execution, manage changes and open actions, and drive projects through completion and closeout. Projects may involve building infrastructure, equipment installation or replacement, office and production-area modifications, repairs, and other Facilities improvements. The position works closely with the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler and Facilities maintenance leadership but does not own the overall maintenance planning and scheduling function. The Facilities Engineer is expected to maintain visibility of assigned work, identify issues that could impact execution, coordinate resolution across involved organizations, and provide clear status through completion. Learn more about Lockheed Martin's comprehensive benefits package Basic Qualifications Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, vendors, facilities services, maintenance activities, or similar operational services Experience managing multiple service requirements, schedules, documentation packages, or vendor deliverables simultaneously Experience coordinating site access, onboarding requirements, documentation, or other administrative requirements for external service providers Experience tracking work to completion and following up on outstanding actions, deliverables, or documentation Experience utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), enterprise workflow systems, procurement systems, or similar business applications Ability to coordinate effectively across internal stakeholders and external service providers in a fast-paced operational environment Ability to obtain and maintain required site access/security requirements Desired Skills Experience supporting subcontracted maintenance or facilities service agreements in an industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or campus environment Experience onboarding or mobilizing new contractors and service providers Experience coordinating contractor security badging, site access, orientation, or similar onboarding requirements Experience reviewing scopes of work, service requirements, preventive maintenance requirements, or contractor deliverables Experience verifying service completion and collecting supporting documentation such as inspection reports, service reports, test results, or other required records Experience utilizing LMBuildings, Maximo, or similar enterprise maintenance platforms Familiarity with facilities infrastructu…
