Community Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated a detail-oriented, experienced candidate to fill the role of Facilities Coordinator for our Multi-Dimensional Anti-Recidivism Partnership (MAP) located in San Bernardino, CA. The selected candidate will be responsible for facility maintenance and repair including ensuring compliance with all building, fire, ADA, and health codes, as well as contract standards pertaining to the Agency's facilities. Position Overview: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the program, policies and procedures, especially they as relate to maintenance and facility operation. Strictly adhere to key and lock control procedures. Assist supervisor with work planning and review sessions, as well as monitoring the Agency facilities to identify ways to ensure policy compliance and control costs and waste. Assist MOVS Manager with conducting weekly inspections Program buildings and report major problems or deficiencies to the MOVS Manager, or Area Director as appropriate. Maintain working knowledge of all city, state, and federal building, fire, ADA, and health codes. Organize and manage on-going maintenance repairs, cleanup, and routine building repairs. Ensure that an adequate supply of maintenance materials and house supplies are on hand at all times. Purchase supplies as needed and keep accurate records of such purchases. Conduct regular, on-site inspections to ensure program staff are maintaining facilities in a safe and compliant fashion. Based on on-site inspections, MOVS Manager feedback and contractor reports prepare and maintain Program’s Capital Improvement Plan. Maintain a bid file to support capital improvement planning decisions. Assist the bidding process in accordance with CSI’s financial policies pertaining to obtaining multiple bid quotes. Evaluate proposals and make recommendations for approval. Supervise and coordinate all maintenance service and repairs pertaining to Program’s facilities and related equipment. Implement all maintenance and general procurement of materials and parts, schedule repair projects and oversee them to ensure completion in a safe and timely manner. Formulate and implement preventative maintenance programs for utility systems, equipment and facilities. Inspect completed projects for quality, accuracy and completeness. Maintain a working knowledge of and abide by the Program’s policies, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualification High school diploma or Trade School diploma. 5 years of experience. Must hold and maintain a California State Contractor License in building or electrical trades. Must possess basic knowledge of HVAC systems. General knowledge to include: construction, maintenance and repair, preventative building maintenance, purchasing supplies and equipment. Must own a supply of basic tools. A valid driver’s license is required. Experience with Microsoft Office.
