We offer a full range of services to our corporate customers with a focus on product procurement, decoration management, product warehousing, and order fulfillment. We’re seeking a Facilities & Operational Readiness Specialist to support our growing Distribution Center team. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, organized, and operationally ready facility while supporting warehouse 5S, equipment readiness, visual standards, facility maintenance coordination, and end-of-shift readiness. What You’ll Be Doing: Complete daily facility-readiness walks of warehouse, dock, entrance, common, and exterior areas Identify and report safety hazards, damaged racking/equipment, blocked aisles or exits, unstable pallets, and other facility abnormalities Maintain warehouse cleanliness including floors, docks, entrances, break rooms, and restrooms Manage trash, cardboard, plastic, recycling, Gaylords, and designated waste areas Own organization of corrugate storage and pallet-return areas Support forklift battery watering and maintain clean, organized equipment parking and charging areas Visually inspect forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, ladders, dock equipment, fans, and shared warehouse assets and report abnormalities Support warehouse 5S standards, including floor markings, staging boundaries, rack/bay/location labels, signage, and visual controls Identify and tag orphan or unidentified inventory for disposition by Materials/Inventory Identify minor facility maintenance needs, create or coordinate maintenance requests, and track issues to completion Perform approved minor repairs, painting, facility touch-ups, and basic facility improvement work Maintain housekeeping, facility, and basic maintenance supplies Support approved vendors and scheduled facility service activities Support QBRs, meetings, grill-outs, and other company event/setup requirements Complete end-of-shift facility-readiness inspections and communicate unresolved issues Support rotating deep-cleaning, exterior audits, and facility improvement projects during available periods Operate within standard operating procedures, job safety rules, security procedures, and approved equipment requirements Other duties as assigned Required Skills: Strong attention to detail Organized work habits and ability to manage recurring routines Good attendance and dependability Ability to work independently and identify work without constant direction Service attitude toward internal customers and Operations Ability to recognize and clearly communicate safety, maintenance, and facility concerns Comfort using mobile devices, checklists, or basic computer systems to document work Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus Education and Experience: 1–3 years of warehouse, facilities, maintenance, custodial, material-handling, or related experience preferred Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent Experience operating pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment is a plus Basic maintenance or repair experience is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended periods Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform routine physical activities Ability to safely use approved cleaning and basic maintenance equipment Ability to work around warehouse equipment and active distribution operations Ability to work at appropri…
