Facilities & Administrative Assistant
Compass Behavioral GroupAbout the Role Compass Behavioral Group is seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Facilities & Administrative Assistant to support our North and South Richmond offices. This part-time, hands-on role is focused on keeping our offices organized, well-stocked, functional, and ready to support our teams and the families we serve. Working closely with our Facilities team and Location Directors, this person will take ownership of day-to-day office and facilities needs, coordinate supplies and maintenance, manage inventory, and help resolve issues as they arise. The role requires someone who is comfortable working independently, identifying needs without waiting to be asked, and moving between locations to provide support where it is needed most. What You'll Do Take Ownership of Office Needs: Proactively identify and address day-to-day office and facilities needs, follow through on requests, and help prevent small issues from becoming larger problems. Manage Supplies & Inventory: Coordinate bulk orders, monitor inventory, maintain snacks and common-area supplies, and ensure both offices have what they need. Maintain Organized Spaces: Keep shared spaces, breakrooms, supply areas, and other common areas organized, functional, and presentable. Coordinate Repairs & Maintenance: Identify maintenance needs, schedule repairs, communicate with service providers, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved. Support Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors regarding services, routine upkeep, contracts, and other facilities-related needs. Coordinate Office Space: Assist with room reservations and shared-space scheduling across both locations. Provide Hands-On Support: Serve as an on-site point of contact for general facilities needs and assist with tasks as they arise. Work Across Both Locations: Partner with the Facilities team and Location Directors to understand priorities, communicate updates, and ensure both offices receive consistent support. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is resourceful, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative. The right person doesn't need a detailed list of instructions for every task. They notice what needs attention, figure out the next steps, and follow through. You may be a great fit if you: Enjoy hands-on work and take pride in keeping spaces organized and running smoothly. Are comfortable working independently and managing your own priorities. Naturally notice when supplies are running low, something needs repair, or a process could be improved. Are practical, solutions-oriented, and willing to pitch in where needed. Communicate well and follow through on commitments. Can balance routine responsibilities with unexpected requests. Are comfortable traveling between our North and South Richmond offices as needed. Previous experience in facilities coordination, office administration, inventory management, vendor coordination, or a similar role is preferred. Schedule & Work Environment This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15–20 hours per week , with scheduling based on the needs of both Richmond offices. The role will involve regular on-site support at our North and South Richmond locations, along with independent coordination of routine tasks and facilities needs. This is an active, hands-on position that combines office organization, facilities coordination, and administrative responsibilities. Success in the role will come from being proactive, staying organized, and taking ownership of the details that help our offices operate effectively. #hc268418
