Banner Environmental Engineering Consultants Ltd.Job Summary Banner Environmental Engineering Consultants Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Fabricator/Operator to join our team. This will be a full time term position requiring some travel to support field installations. The successful applicant will work with the Banner team of Engineers, Scientists, Technologists and Operators to undertake the fabrication and operation of water treatment systems for various Project located in BC and AB. Key Responsibilities: Construction/fabrication of Treatment Systems based on Engineered Drawings Material Procurement Measure, cut, thread, groove and assemble piping and fittings Coordinate with other trades (electricians, welders, etc.) Commissioning/maintenance of pump systems, filter maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical as required. Develop a strong knowledge of Banners standards, policies, procedures and workplace culture. Travel as required for Field Installations Qualifications / Requirements: Construction Experience Strong mechanical and/or mathematical aptitude. Grade 12 Diploma Trade Certificate considered an asset Technical Diploma or Degree in relevant field considered an assetBachelors of Science in Engineering considered an asset Willingness for travel and shift work Ability to multi-task and self motivate Valid Class 5 Driver’s License, acceptable driving record with 3 years driving experience Desire to work in a fast-paced, solutions based, Consulting Engineering environment with a focus on safety, personal growth and willing to accept new and challenging assignments. Deliverable-based mind set considered an asset. A positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
