Job Purpose The Fabrication Operations Specialist supports daily fabrication operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, following up on production schedules, managing SAP data, and coordinating across departments. Under the guidance of departmental management, this role helps ensure material availability, reliable operational records, timely communication, and safe, efficient production. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records for fabrication stock materials and consumables, including material receipts, issues, transfers, and storage locations. Conduct routine physical inventory checks, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate necessary corrections with the responsible departments and management. Follow up on fabrication schedules, track work progress and material readiness, and promptly report delays, shortages, or other issues affecting production. Process and maintain fabrication-related SAP transactions and records in accordance with established procedures and approval requirements. Monitor consumable inventory levels and usage, prepare purchase requisitions (PRs), and follow up on purchasing and delivery status to support material availability. Coordinate with Production, Material Management, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and other relevant departments to resolve routine material, schedule, and system-related issues. Prepare and maintain reports on inventory, consumable usage, purchase requests, and production progress. Support improvements in material organization, record accuracy, and daily administrative workflows. Follow company safety requirements and support 3C5S practices in fabrication material storage and work areas. Perform other related duties as assigned by departmental management. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior manufacturing experience is not required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data entry, tracking, and basic reporting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records. Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and follow up on outstanding items. Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments. Willingness to learn SAP, inventory-control procedures, and fabrication processes. Ability to work in both office and manufacturing-floor environments and comply with applicable safety requirements. Availability to work overtime as needed to support production schedules. Preferred Qualifications Internship or work experience in manufacturing administration, inventory control, purchasing, or production coordination. Familiarity with SAP or another enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Experience using Excel formulas, lookup functions, or PivotTables. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean.
