Fabric & Inventory Assistant

We're Hiring: Fabric & Inventory Assistant Lousso Designs | Norwood, MA | Part-Time / Paid Internship Pay: $17–$20/hour | 20 per week Lousso Designs is a growing custom furniture and upholstery manufacturer looking for a dependable, organized individual to help manage our fabric inventory, incoming materials, and stock organization. This is a great opportunity for a student, recent graduate, or someone interested in interior design, textiles, manufacturing, or inventory management. No prior upholstery experience is required. We're happy to train the right person! Your 3 Main Responsibilities 1. Fabric Cataloging & Listings Photograph, measure, and catalog fabric rolls and samples. Enter fabric details into our inventory system and prepare fabric listings. Maintain accurate records of fabric types, colors, quantities, and storage locations. 2. Fabric Receiving, Tagging & Organization Receive incoming fabrics and verify deliveries against orders. Label and tag fabric rolls with the correct customer, project, and material information. Organize fabrics in designated storage areas so materials can be located quickly. Identify missing, incorrect, or damaged materials. 3. Stock & Inventory Organization Help organize our shop's stock materials and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory counts and storage locations. Assist with labeling shelves, bins, and materials. Help establish and maintain an efficient, clean, and organized stockroom. Who We're Looking For Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. Reliable, punctual, and accountable. Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic computer software. Able to work independently and follow established procedures. Comfortable with hands-on work in a furniture manufacturing environment. Interested in learning about fabrics, furniture, and production operations. Experience in inventory, retail stockrooms, shipping and receiving, or textiles is a plus, but not required. Schedule & Compensation $17–$20/hour , depending on experience. Approximately 20–30 hours per week. In-person at our Norwood, Massachusetts workroom. Flexible weekday scheduling during business hours. Paid training provided. Opportunity for additional hours and long-term growth.
