Export Traffic Coordinator

An excellent company near Compton, CA is looking for Logistic Traffic Coordinator who's works well in a fast-paced environment. What you will be doing: Monitor reports of new orders from commercial export managers to then execute shipments to the country of destination. Follow a department standard method for organizing physical files and electronic files. Work within an Export Coordinator Team to ensure that all files are handled in a timely manner regardless of the destination of the shipment or the original ownership of the file. Verify all aspects of the product being assigned within our client’s system for the proper match with customer requirements. Optimize carrier selection, managing the proper cost/service balance. Gather and update requirement records stored for each customer in the assigned territory. Obtain the necessary shipping documents, L/C, COA’s, etc. and validate them prior to shipment. Assist Export Pricing & Compliance Manager in negotiating and administering service arrangements, freight rates and contract terms for the distribution of goods internationally. · Maintain and develop positive business relationships with steamship lines, trucking companies, warehouses, and customers. Use tracking systems to prevent or resolve emergent issues. Review, edit and approve draft documents completed by the Export Documentation Team. · Other duties as assigned to accomplish company goals. Status: Temp to Hire Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm temp to hire.
