About the Opportunity: The EXPORT ORDER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST role is responsible for independently managing the complete international customer order process. This position ensures order accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely shipment fulfillment. It plays a key part in supporting efficient global operations and delivering a strong customer experience by coordinating across multiple departments and external partners to resolve logistical and documentation challenges. Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end export to shipment process, including order review, release and hold management, shipment booking, and post-shipment documentation. Prepare and review complex export documents such as certificates of origin, legalized documents, proforma invoices, shipper instructions, and packing requirements. Coordinate export documentation filings through internal systems, freight forwarders, or government portals with accuracy and timeliness. Ensure accurate classification inputs including HTS/ECCN, country of origin, valuation, and Incoterms, working closely with Trade Compliance and Master Data. Plan consolidations, container loading, special handling, and customs clearance activities with freight forwarders and brokers. Identify and resolve shipment delays or holds caused by documentation, port congestion, or regulations; communicate impacts and recovery plans. Collaborate with Warehouse, Sales, Finance, Credit, Trade Compliance, and subsidiaries to address order discrepancies, pricing, payment terms, and compliance issues. Monitor and validate shipment costs and charges, assisting with billing and cost discrepancies. Use analytical tools to design efficient export container and pallet configurations to improve warehouse fulfillment accuracy and efficiency. Requirements: 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, business, or related fields. 1-2 years of experience in export operations, order management, international logistics, or related supply chain functions. High attention to detail with commitment to data quality, documentation accuracy, and compliance readiness. Strong cross-functional communication skills. Familiarity with HTS/ECCN classifications, country-of-origin rules, denied-party screening, and export control fundamentals. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy under time pressure. Understanding of freight Incoterms, accessorial charges, and cost-to-serve concepts. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred. Foundational knowledge of international shipping terms and order-to-shipment processes. Prior experience preparing export documentation and coordinating international shipments.
