Role Description The Export Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lynbrook, NY. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing all export operations, including coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance with export regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Export Manager will work closely with customers, carriers, and internal teams to plan export activities, negotiate rates, and monitor shipment status to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Daily tasks include developing and implementing export strategies, managing relationships with overseas partners, resolving operational issues, and optimizing processes to support business growth. The role also involves preparing reports, analyzing export performance metrics, and collaborating with sales and management to identify new opportunities in international markets. Qualifications Strong expertise in Export operations, including documentation, compliance, and international shipping procedures. Experience in Business Planning, with the ability to develop and execute export strategies and optimize processes. Knowledge of International Business and International Trade, including trade regulations, Incoterms, and customs requirements. Proven track record in Sales related to logistics or international trade, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Relevant experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management; prior experience with air and ocean exports is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global partners and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office and logistics or ERP systems; familiarity with digital logistics platforms is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Ability to work on-site in Lyn
