As a Nationally Permitted U.S. Customs Broker & Export Foreign Freight Forwarder, we handle all phases of the Automated Broker Interface and offer a suite of services including Customs Brokerage, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Trucking, and Warehousing. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Moonachie, NJ for an Export Specialist at American Shipping Co. Inc. The Export Specialist will be responsible for handling export documentation, communicating with clients, managing export processes, providing exceptional customer service, and coordinating import-export activities. Air and Ocean Export Specialist Strong language and customer service skills Full Export process A-Z (pricing through to billing) DG Certified Commodities: dangerous goods / perishables / dry ice / machine parts / ceramics / paintings / general cargo Trade Lane: global designated accounts and trade lanes Strong export knowledge of TSA regulations and industry standards Microsoft office proficiency a MUST CargoWise Certified Qualifications Export Documentation and Import Export skills Strong Communication and Customer Service skills Experience in export processes Knowledge of customs regulations and compliance Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience in the shipping or logistics industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Work Location: In person
