Job Summary: SKF Lubrication Systems is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator for its factory location in Johnson City, Tennessee. Candidate will work with freight forwarders and brokers to ensure compliance with all aspects of export administration. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager. Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities: Process all necessary export documentation, including instructions for transportation. Generate shipping documents such as packing list, commercial invoices, shipper export declaration, certificate of origin and bill of lading. Ensure compliance with hazardous cargo transportation regulations. Prepare documents required to comply with letters of credit and other forms of payment. Act as liaison between ocean carrier, freight forwarders, outside trucking companies, shipping department and delivery facilities to resolve problems on containers or air shipments. Coordinate with shipping personnel any special shipping packaging and marking requirements. Prepare USMCA documentation & distribute it to customers on an as-needed basis- requires obtaining the correct Schedule B code. Assist Customer Service issuing non-exempt shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Perform / assist in other administrative duties, including Premium Freight Reporting, ASN’s, and data entry. Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Shipping Supervisor and the Supply Chain Manager. Qualifications: Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 2-3 years’ export documentation experience preferred. Global Wizard software experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Skills, Knowledge: Solid interpersonal skills, and good verbal / written communication skills. Detail oriented; high degree of accuracy. Ability to use sound, prudent, and independent judgment. Ability to work with little supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
