Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Experienced Sit Down Forklift Operator on the first shift, where your expertise will drive efficiency and safety in our warehouse operations starting as soon as Monday, October 5th!! Your skills will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, working with electric car batteries (This is not SK Battery). STEEL TOE BOOTS OR SHOES- MANADATORY SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE - MANDATORY FORKLIFT CERTIFATION- PREFERRED MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN US GREAT WORK ETHIC AND ATTENDANCE A MUST WEEKLY PAY $18.00 PER HOUR-FIRM 1ST SHIFT-MON-FRI-6:00AM-2:30PM OR UNTIL JOB COMPLETED Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load and unload shipments efficiently. Manage inventory through accurate barcode scanning and updating warehouse management systems to ensure precise stock levels. Pick and prepare orders using sit down Toyota forklift equipment while adhering to shipping and receiving protocols. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with warehouse management tasks including organizing materials, managing stock rotation, and maintaining a clean work environment. Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate distribution activities, optimize workflow, and improve overall warehouse operations. Experience Proven experience operating sit down forklift. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and inventory management practices. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and materials handling safety standards in production environments. Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments demonstrating proficiency in order picking, load & unload processes, and heavy equipment operation.
