Experienced Shipping Supervisor

Dynamic small fitness equipment business is looking for full-time motivated, outgoing, and experienced shipping supervisor to be a part of our rapid expansion. This is a one of a kind opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a business that is growing rapidly. This position requires at least 3 years of experience in shipping both ground and freight including getting quotes from multiple carriers, preparing freight for shipping, printing shipping labels, and tracking packages. Experience filing claims and disputing overages is a must. Applicants must be mechanically inclined, be able to work Saturdays, and have flexible work schedules. BILINGUAL (English and Spanish) is a plus. $50000 to start with a strong preference for candidates that can operate independently and contribute immediately with minimal training. We are open Monday-Saturday from 10am - 6pm, but schedules will vary based on demand. Responsibilities include --Scheduling and tracking ground and freight shipments --Following departmental policies and procedures --Filing Claims --Strapping and wrapping equipment --Picking, checking, and dispatching orders --Scheduling dedicated trucks --Loading delivery trucks --Any other tasks as necessary REQUIREMENT: Must be able to lift 75+ pounds.
