We provide portable restrooms, restroom trailers, handwashing stations, and other site services to construction sites, commercial projects, and special events. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated Service Route Driver to join our growing team. This position is responsible for servicing and maintaining portable restrooms at customer locations throughout the Charleston area. Drivers operate a service truck, follow assigned routes, and ensure every unit is properly cleaned, sanitized, stocked, and ready for use. We're looking for someone who can work independently, manage their time effectively, communicate proactively, and consistently deliver quality service without constant supervision. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a service truck along assigned daily routes. Pump, clean, sanitize, and restock portable restrooms and handwashing stations. Ensure all units are thoroughly cleaned, properly stocked with toilet paper, supplied with adequate water and chemicals, and left clean, dry, and ready for use. Remove trash and debris from inside and around restroom units. Complete assigned routes efficiently while maintaining high service standards. Utilize mobile applications to navigate routes, document completed services, and communicate updates. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of assigned truck and equipment. Identify and report damaged units, equipment issues, and customer concerns. Communicate proactively with management regarding route delays, access issues, or service challenges. Provide professional, courteous customer service when interacting with customers and jobsite personnel. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean and acceptable driving record. Experience driving commercial trucks, service trucks, or similar vehicles preferred. Previous route driving, portable sanitation, septic, waste management, or related service experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the workday. Comfortable using GPS navigation, smartphones, and mobile applications. Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to repeatedly bend, lift, climb in and out of a truck, and handle service equipment. Dependable transportation and consistent attendance. Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekends as business needs require.
